Jarell's Journey

Jarell was born June 2, 1992 at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  He was a big baby weighing almost 9lbs at birth.  His father sometimes referred to him as Superman.

He was educated in the Philadelphia School District and later by private schooling.  He was due to graduate on his birthday from Wyncote Academy in 2011.  In 2008 he joined Holy Cross Baptist Church along with his parents.  He had a great sense of humor and often had you cracking up with laughter, he was a real jokester.  He possessed many great talents, was artistic, and worked well with younger children.

Jarell was liked by many but loved by all who knew him.  Working with his hands was something he enjoyed most.  He was always willing to work along with his dad doing contracting jobs as well as working with his mother with her catering events and liked it especially when he got paid.  He was a true penny pincher.  His loving personality was a great quality he often displayed and he was so appreciative of what life had to offer.  He made sure to tell his family he loved them every night before going to sleep.  The girls loved Jarell too, he always made them laugh.

Rell or Rellish as he was often called was a video game expert, excellent skater, superb swimmer, he loved the game of football as well as basketball and was one of the leading scorers for his school.  He loved winning at everything.  He was looking forward to attending The Williamson School of Trade or Stevenson College in Lancaster.

Jarell was truly one of a kind and will never be forgotten.  The work done through the foundation will leave a legacy of lasting memories promoting peace, love, and laughter in his honor.
